Sanford Road is the Goldilocks of streets in Nolensville. Sanford is located toward the growing end of town, near the to-be-completed Nolensville Town Square project. The area is quiet yet near. It’s hilly but not steep. Willow Ridge’s greatest asset may be its location in one of Nolensville’s most picturesque areas.
Where Exactly is Willow Ridge in Nolensville?
Willow Ridge—formerly known as Willowbrook—will be built on the old Jobe property. The approximate address is 2671 Sanford Road, as listed by the builder, John Wieland Homes.
For those familiar with Telfair, Willow Ridge will be located just beyond the Telfair Sanford Road properties. Current plat maps indicate that the two neighborhoods might connect near McClellan Lane. Some plat maps show this connection as a street connection, while others show it as a trail connection.
- If it’s a street connection, residents of Willow Ridge in Nolensville will have valuable road access through Telfair to York Road, which means a quicker commute to the Williamson County School campus. It also means residents won’t be solely reliant on Nolensville Road.
- If it’s a trail connection, younger residents can use the trail system and connecting sidewalks to reach the school campus.

According to Cedric Dent for News TN, “The property, south of Nolensville High School and Mill Creek Middle School, had to be rezoned for subdivision residential with a planned development overlay, and one of its core thoroughfares, McClellan Lane, was then dead-ended with a turnaround but also with plans to continue into the Willowbrook development now beginning. Together, the two phases account for 88 single-family units with a density of about an acre per lot.”
(While originally referred to as Willowbrook, this development is now known as Willow Ridge and will be constructed by John Wieland Homes.)

Community Amenities
As mentioned above, it seems highly likely that there will be a trail system connection, at least. Current builder plans confirm sidewalks, underground utilities, a mail kiosk, a playground, and walking trails, with an emphasis on privacy and no back-to-back lots.
The following photo shows the renderings presented to the Town of Nolensville.
Lot Sizes and Homes
The original plans listed Drees as the builder, but the project has since transitioned to John Wieland Homes. Willow Ridge will feature 44 homesites ranging up to 1.1 acres, with home sizes starting around 3,775 square feet and pricing from approximately $1.2 million.
The project sits on 41.87 acres, and will include 41% (17.14 acres) of open space.
Renderings reflect the transitional architecture John Wieland Homes is known for, offering a distinctive look compared to most homes in Nolensville with perhaps some resemblance to certain homes in Annecy.
Timeline
Preliminary grading was completed in early 2024. The grand opening of Willow Ridge is now scheduled for April 26, 2025, according to the builder.
